Review: Inception (2010)

Inception

Inception is the new film by English director Christopher Nolan. I stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine and Cillian Murphy.

Its a science fiction-action film based on lucid dreaming. Think if The Matrix franchise was actually really good then you’ll have Inception. This film though is without a doubt Christopher Nolan’s film and I don’t think he will match its creativity although I hope i’m proving wrong.

I thought this film was going to be more complex to understand than I first thought but it hadn’t. The story is well written and so are the characters. Nolan both wrote, produced and directed which is why this will be his film and is masterful mind works wonders on it. Only Nolan could think of this story and the ideas on how to portray it on the big screen. Inception sets Nolan up well whilst we all wait for the final Batman film which wont be out for to long.

I thought the film was just brilliant and happily see it again which is why i’m giving the film 5/5.
